Searching for Ballon flights in Carrollton? You have found to the end of your search! Finding a company to provide Ballon flights is easy. In addition, you can check the rest of our site, or look in the local yellow pages.
Enjoying Ballon flights is something the entire family can enjoy, but it is also a popular way to get engaged! When you speak with the ride provider you are thinking about booking with, don't forget to ask how many others will be aboard the balloon.
When it is time for your ride, your pilot will offer to let you help with the assembly and inflation of the balloon. Go ahead and do it - it adds to the fun!
What should you wear during your flight?
Ballooning is not a formal occasion, so heals, dresses and suits are not appropriate. Dress like you would for an outdoor hike. Comfortable shoes (no open-toed shoes or sandals, please), long pants and layered clothing during the cooler months are recommended. Balloons don't normally land at airports, so you'll probably be standing in an open field after landing. Dress appropriately for the area of the country you're flying in.
Be sure to check with the company you are flying with for their clothing rules.
Famous Balloon Quote:
The best way of travel, however, if you aren't in any hurry at all, if you don't care where you are going, if you don't like to use your legs, if you don't want to be annoyed at all by any choice of directions, is in a balloon. In a balloon, you can decide only when to start, and usually when to stop. The rest is left entirely to nature.
— William Pene du Bois, 'The Twenty-one Balloons.'
Even if the pilot happens to land in the same field twice (which doesn't happen often) the winds will probably be different. This means the take off and or landing will have something different that needs to happen to help make it a safe flight.

Hot air balloons use plain old air for lift. By heating the air inside the balloon, the pilot makes that air less dense (lighter) than the outside air, and the balloon rises. As the internal air cools, the balloon becomes heavier, and descends if the pilot doesn't add more heat.
