You get 1 hour tops. No more. The external pack is worth it. It also has the AC charger. You must use the HP usb charger for this unit or it won't actually charge. You will also need to subscribe to their service, which is actually pretty cool. Keeps all your charts updated, add's TFR's etc. Definitely worth the cost of admission. Built in 2005, US Certified 2010. "Jim" and "Betty" fka "Kotenco" and "Matenco." These envelopes were built for a Japanese Anime movie which was never completed. The balloons were stored and professionally maintained by a dealer in Australia. They were in a climate controlled building, and opened up and unpacked monthly to preserve them, until the mounting cost of this care warranted their sale by the production company. I purchased these envelopes, had them imported to the US, and paid Cameron Balloons US do the required flight testing to meet US STANDARD airworthiness requirements (At great cost to us) to have Standard Airworthiness Certificates issued by the FAA, and unlike foreign built shapes, they are NOT EXPERIMENTAL, nor do they have any other restriction placed on them. Tethers, Displays, Banners, Rides for Hire, are all allowed with no airworthiness or geographical restrictions. The balloons have a lift of a 90, with a total estimated volume of just over 100,000 cubic feet, with the appendages. The weight of an average Cameron 90 is about 250#, these envelopes weigh about 180# more at just about 430 pounds, so quite manageable compared to shapes that weigh 8 to 12 hundred pounds! They pack up about the size of a 120 - 140 size envelope. I have at least 500 of each individual balloon pins, and some quantities of the pair (if both purchased) that will be included. I am asking $29,995 for either envelope (your choice) or $49,995 for both (Save $10,000 on both). These envelopes cost $70,000 EACH when ordered, and new would be over $80K EACH now. The envelopes are flytec ready, and the instruments are available for just $1,000 more for each envelope. I have $7,000 worth of bookings this fall that can transfer (upon approval of the 2 specific events). Since the hours on these balloons are so low, there are very few photos in existence, so I have included the ones I can find. Jim has 36:55 TT and Betty has 14:55 TT. System is equipped as follows; RWSW basket with stainless steel superstructure and poly skids, one H20 with seat and one V15 tank, Zone V double burners, Aegis wireless instruments. Envelope is built with Aerostar's amazing Diamond Weave fabric. It has a full parachute top and is equipped with banner loops, Nomex scoop, and Kevlar cables. A complete 100 hour inspection was performed by Bert Padelt on 12/10/11; pulled 45#, average porosity was 21 CFM, temp tab was clear. Aegis instruments were serviced and calibrated by Blue Sky Avionics on 11/23/11. The parachute top was replaced on 4/20/11 @ 375 TT. Parachute now has 45 TT. System has 418.9 TT. Hoses were replaced in 2008. This is a beautiful "My Sky" pattern balloon in nice shape with a lot of life left. It has been well maintained and meticulously cared for.
