Looking at balloons? Are you a crew member that wants to learn to fly? You can learn with your favorite Commercial pilot when you can manage to get together and the weather cooperates, and take a year or two to finish. OR you can come to our flight school, and complete your Private LTA in 2 - 3 weeks.
As a Part 141 structured school, you will follow a published curriculum, and are well prepared for the written, oral and flight checks. You must decide if you want to become a pilot; or a well trained, safe pilot!
With our great weather (320 flying days a year average) you can usually complete everything in 2-3 weeks, including the check ride (there are two examiners in town, and a backup from the FAA also!)
We train the year around, except for during the AIBF early October. 700 balloons in the air is not a good learning environment!
You can use our equipment, or bring yours. Bring the family and make it a vacation at the same time, there will be free time to be a tourist after flying.
We fly to your schedule, and you will have an instructor at your call for the entire time you are here.
We also do refreshers, flight reviews and upgrade to COM LTA.
