Festival Description:
Located at the Tahlequah Municipal Airport in the beautiful, scenic foothills of the Ozark Mountains.
In addition to thirty hot air balloons competing Thursday, Friday and Saturday, spectators enjoy day long live entertainment, arts and craft vendors, carnival rides, kiddie playground, fireworks, tractor pulls, four-wheel rock climbing, car show, and the challenging BalloonChase 5K Run with over 1,000 participants in 2007.
Admission is free, a small donation is accepted for parking with the proceeds going to local children's charities. |
